Two police officers have been told they face possible jail sentences for causing suffering and "mental terror" to their two pet dogs.
Magistrates in Denbigh heard how Anja Mason, 29 and Craig Macleod, 34, who lived together in Prestatyn, now also face losing their jobs.
A neighbour filmed them hitting and kicking the pets and called the RSPCA.
Both admitted causing unnecessary suffering to a collie pup called Tess and Macleod to a rottweiler, Snoopy.
Both officers, who will be sentenced on 25 November, have been removed from frontline duties until the end of the case, a North Wales Police force spokesman.
The court was told a neighbour had been concerned about the ill-treatment of dogs at the property and had called the RSPCA on several occasions.
Asked about the fact the defendants are police officers, he said: "We prosecute without discrimination, and always fairly, so their occupation is irrelevant as far as we're concerned.Well, we feel that their occupation as a public servant does rend them more accountable for their actions than that of say, an 75 year old Alzheimer's sufferer unable to look their animals.
Not only that, it shows traits of underlying cruelty, an inability to control themselves and a propensity to use violence to achieve their objective.
Are these traits what we wish our police officers to possess? or do we need psychologically sound and rationally balanced police patrolling our streets?

The New World Order Resistance
Apart for trying to sort out my Netvibes Universe, write a few articles for Helium, and do some SEO for my blog, which is in dire need of a make over, I recently joined a Facebook group called The New World Order Resistance which also has a web page and a Wiki presence.
Within a very short period of time, the groups global membership has approached 4000, a trend that will hopefully continue.
The New World Order Resistance
What is needed for this group is more members who are able to provide time, resources and expertise in coordinating this into a working, effective entity rather than just a bunch of malcontents, bitching on how powerless we are and how nasty the bad guys are.
After all who is the enemy?
We can see their puppets at work every time we open a newspaper, a web page or view or listen to the mainstream media but are they the enemy? Or the puppet?
Or, if you are not aware of how things are going on this small, blue-green planet some in the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral Arm, you have:
a. Been in a coma for most of your life.
b. Been on a completely different planet, galaxy or even Universe.
c. Are part of the problem.

The 'unexpected' (ha!) meltdown of the financial world, fostered by the provision unsustainable credit, based on Fiat currencies, has forced more people to question how the hell we arrived at this situation? and what roles have our financial institutions, governments, NGO's and others in suddenly fleecing the populations of all the nations out of their 'wealth'.
In this sense, this ''crisis' may help in waking people up to the fact that, throughout history we have been lied to.
Our history is given to us, our identity is given to us and our thoughts are irrelevant.
Money is Debt is a video which goes someway in explaining the history of money, what it is based upon and what it means physically and psychologically.
Many may believe that 'we' should take the fight to 'them' but as I have previously commented, who is us and who is them?
And anyway they have all the resources they need, even down to the Neutron bomb if they so wished.
But mainly these are the devices which they will be using to keep order in their New World.

What does seem a bit odd is the Conservative opposition, having backed David Davis's protest at the ever encroaching 'Big Brother ' state now one of their run City Councils seem to be set to destroy one of the few street/public symbols of that protest.
Go figure as the saying goes!

An artwork by street artist Banksy in central London will be removed to send a message to graffiti artists in the city, a council has decided.
Westminster City Council has ordered a 23ft-high (7m) mural, entitled One Nation Under CCTV, to be removed from a building on Newman Street.
The artist's sketches have sold for thousands of pounds at auctions.
But deputy leader of the council Robert Davis said keeping the mural would mean "condoning" graffiti.
The mural has the words "One Nation Under CCTV" stencilled above two painted people.
One appears to be a child in a red hooded top apparently painting the words, while a police officer holding a camera and a brown dog look on.

I remembered recently, that David Byrne and Brian Eno released their latest collaboration, Everything that Happens will Happen Today, a little while ago, (which would make a nice Xmas prezzie for SOMEONE! As would some tickets to see them in the UK. Not that my partner even reads my blog, so no chance there!)
