Poetry analysis: The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, by Samuel Coleridge - Poets & Poetry - Helium - by Pablothehat

Thought we would go a little 'high brow' and cheer ourselves up LOL!!!!

The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, by Samuel Coleridge is a heck of a piece of literature to work though and it was part of my studies for higher education. Once you get beyond the archaic writing style it is very funny, particularly if you try and read it with a Scots accent in your head.

LOL a bit longer than than. Part of what I did for Uni.
I just think it is a great poem and I enjoyed writing the article on it.

nice. what i like is people reading super serious poetry after just sucking on some helium. really lightens the mood and takes out some of the pomp and circumstance!
